Alessandro Badalamenti did not start The Makeover Group from a boardroom. He started it from the middle of the problem.
As a founder operating across Florence, Sydney, and Seattle, he saw the same pattern everywhere: talented operators building real businesses, then slowly drowning in the mechanics of running them. The finance was a mess. The operations were held together by willpower. Growth stalled because every decision still ran through one person.
The businesses were not broken. The founders were just trapped.
Alessandro built TMG Books to solve the first and most common failure point: financial operations. It worked. Clients stopped guessing at their numbers and started seeing them clearly, many for the first time.
But he kept hearing the same thing: "The books are clean. Now what?"
That question became The Makeover Group.

Alessandro built TMG from Florence, working across three continents and multiple industries. His career has been defined by one pattern: walking into businesses where the fundamentals are strong but the infrastructure is broken, then building the systems that let the business run without him.
He started with finance because that is where most founders lose control first. TMG Books now serves clients across Italy and internationally, handling everything from day-to-day bookkeeping to full financial operations.
From there, he expanded into property management with BM Real Estate, hospitality with Casa Bada Tuscany, and hands-on business transformation through the Group's consulting practice. The operating principle has stayed the same: build it so it works without you.
Today, The Makeover Group is a holding company with operating businesses, consulting partnerships, and equity positions. Alessandro leads the group with a bias for execution over theory, systems over heroics, and long-term ownership over short-term fees.
